Enrollment, Fee, Tuition and Termination

Enrollment
When enrolling your child with us, you are required to fill out the enrollment package. These forms give us vital information about your child, so we can provide the best possible care. It’s imperative for your child health and safety that all forms are accurately completed and submitted for official review. In the package, you will be asked for the Emergency contact information which you or your child guardian can be immediately reached. (it’s important that we got informed ASAP when any of this information get changed.)

Annual Registration
A non-refundable registration fee of $110 is due prior to admission. Cash is not accepted for registration and tuition payments.
Tuition Payment & Terms
Payments are due in advance and are processed on the 1st of each month by check, paid to the order of Sunshine Preschool Center.
Any payments received after the 1st of the month is subject to a $5 charge per day until the payment is received.
Returned payments (insufficient funds) are subject to a $25 returned payment bank fee and a $25 late fee.
Enrollment will be terminated if full payment is not received by the 10th of the month. Sunshine Preschool Center cannot guarantee to save a child’s spot if terminated due to nonpayment of tuition.
Sunshine Preschool Center will notify parents thirty (30) days before any rate change is to take effect.
There are no credits, refunds, trading or making up days for absences.
Sibling Discounts
Each child must be enrolled on a 5, 4, or 3 full day schedules to qualify for the monthly tuition discount.

Schedule Changes
Any schedule changes must be in writing and turned in to Sunshine Preschool Center.
Add Hours
A 2-week written notice is required for adding hours or days to your child’s current schedule.
Reduce Hours
A request for a new schedule must be submitted 30-days in advance of requested change or you will be charged your current tuition for 30 days from the date we receive this written notice, even if your child does not attend.
Withdraw
A 15-day written notice is required, or you will be charged your current tuition for 15 days from the date we receive your notice, even if your child does not attend.
Registrations charge of $110 is due if you decide to reenroll after the 30-day written notice of withdrawal.
Late Pickup
Sunshine Preschool Center closes at 6:00 PM.
Please call Sunshine Preschool Center if you are going to be late.
After 6:00 PM, $1 per minute will be charged.
Part day schedule will be charged $1 per minute after 1:00 PM.
Frequent lateness may result in dismissal from Sunshine Preschool Center.
Absences
Parents/gradiences are required to notify our center in regarding of your child’s absence/illness by 10:00 A.M. by emailing us at sunshinepreschoolcenter@gmail.com or calling 415-872-9417 to inform the classroom teacher. Absences are not refundable.
Additional Fees
Activities outside of the general curriculum may require an additional fee. To participate in extracurricular activities, a completed and signed permission form with payment of any related fee is required prior to the activity.

Termination
The director at Sunshine Preschool Center reserves the right to cancel the enrollment of a child at his/her discretion, or for the following possible reasons:
Non-payment or excessive late payments of tuition and fees.
Not observing the rules of the center as outlined in the parent agreement.
Physical and/or verbal abuse of staff or children by parent or child.
Expired or non-immunizations and/or physical.
